Director, Human Resources

Responsibilities

Partner with the Chief People Officer to develop and execute forward-looking human resources strategies aligned to business objectives
Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted business partner to leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
Manage complex employee relations matters, including conducting objective, thorough, and confidential investigations
Support and strengthen talent acquisition strategies, recruiting processes, and best practices in compliance with federal and state regulations
Drive initiatives focused on employee engagement, retention, and culture-building across the organization
Monitor organizational health and employee sentiment, proactively identifying opportunities to improve engagement and experience
Lead and influence change initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
Identify, design, and implement innovative HR solutions and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Ensure HR programs, policies, and practices are applied consistently and with integrity across the organization
Collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels to support business priorities and people outcomes

Required

At least 7 years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism
Strong working knowledge of recruiting processes, employment laws, and HR best practices
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team
Strong customer service orientation and ability to partner with leaders at all levels
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

Experience working in a technology-oriented organization
A Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
SHRM or equivalent professional certification
Demonstrated success driving HR process improvement and innovation initiatives
