Responsibilities
Lineage Implementation: Design and develop frameworks to track data flow across complex environments (source, transformations, destination)
Metadata Harvesting: Configure tools like Informatica Axon, Collibra, or Data.world to capture lineage from databases, ETL tools (Airflow), and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau)
Data Quality & Profiling: Utilize Informatica CDQ for data profiling and quality assessments to ensure the integrity of the data lineage
Compliance Support: Use lineage maps for impact analysis and regulatory reporting
Collaboration: Partner with Data Stewards and Engineers to maintain data dictionaries and metadata models
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of professional experience in Data Governance or Data Engineering
Expertise in Informatica Axon and IDMC/CDQ is essential
Advanced SQL, ETL processes, Data Modeling, and Big Data (PySpark)
Experience capturing lineage from Power BI or Tableau
Strong ability to trace complex data flows and troubleshoot issues from source to consumption
