Training Program Manager

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Training Program Manager to assist and support the execution of all training coordination functions required for the student training pipeline at the Joint Military Attaché School (JMAS). The role involves coordinating with various military and internal elements to develop training schedules and ensure compliance with training requirements.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with external military human resource command and representatives, internal service elements, and Office of Human Resources (OHR) to validate requisitions and develop requisite JMAS student training schedules
Develop student class rosters for each JMAS iteration
Secure qualifications and perform duties as Unit Security Officer
Verify student security clearance information and spouse interim access designations
Perform duties as Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) and Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA) in Defense Travel System (DTS) for student travel
Comply with applicable laws and directives to ensure successful completion of JMAS pipeline training by all students
Maintain knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and other software programs for various work-related needs
Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required

Active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business administration, personnel management, or intelligence
Bachelor's degree in any discipline. An additional five (5) years of experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree
Experience in a Military Training Environment
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

Preferred

Proficiency in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training methodologies
Ability to design assessment methods and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs
Strong project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor training initiatives within deadlines and budgets
