Responsibilities
Providing group and 1:1 activity support
Interacting with and providing companionship to residents
Encouraging residents to participate in activities
Assisting with scheduling movies
Planning parties
Organizing games and crafts
Accompanying residents on activities outside of the facility
Qualification
Required
A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred
An unencumbered State of South Dakota C.N.A. certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of South Dakota Accredited C.N.A. training course
Prior Activity Aide experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
