Giving Home Health Care has been supporting individuals impacted by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities since 2012. They are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Las Vegas, NV, to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes according to a physician established care plan.

Responsibilities

Work with the patient in their home to provide one-on-one service in a comfortable and familiar setting

Assist with the patients’ activities of daily living as well as personal care

Provide companionship care and basic emotional or psychological support

Adhere to the patient’s established plan of care

Execute the physician prescribed plan of care and maintain compliant documentation of care provided in the system of record

Monitor vitals (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) according to plan of care

Remind patient of and administer medication as prescribed

Maintain records and documentation of daily services

Communication with the patients’ family, doctors, and other prescribed individuals regarding the health and care of the patient

Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions

Preferred

1+ years of experience working in a clinical or home health setting

1+ years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a clinical or home health setting

Knowledge of medical terminology

1+ year of caregiving experience
