Responsibilities

Perform financial accounting activities for the assigned areas to support the Sample Management Solutions business

Reconcile inter-company transactions, ensure transactions balance between related parties

Review intercompany transactions, review profit elimination between entities to ensure proper accounting of Balance Sheet and Income Statement

Perform reserve analysis on assigned areas such as Rebates, Warranty, Other General Liabilities and ensure proper recognition of cost and revenue

Lead month-end closing activities related to the operating company in the assigned areas, including account reconciliations

Analyze complex accounting areas and identify trends, accruals, and necessary actions. Create journal entries

Ensure execution of control procedures as per the policies for the assigned areas, review & report any control gaps proactively and work with broader accounting & finance function on corrective actions

Prepare monthly balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations, complete Flux, provide commentary and explanation on balance changes

Collaborate with other accounting & finance teams on matters relating to Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivable, Cost Accounting and other general accounting

Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and overall Balance sheet items responsible for

Coordinate with Corporate accounting on matters relating to general accounting, chart of accounts management
