Seasonal Tax Processing Clerk
AP Rochester is a well-known accounting firm located in Henrietta, seeking a Seasonal Tax Processing Clerk. The role involves reviewing documents for accuracy, interpreting instructions for tax return processing, and participating in quality checks of peers' work.
Responsibilities
Reviews scanned source documents for accuracy and makes changes in the database as
Interprets instructions for printing, electronically archiving and packaging finalized tax returns for signature; completes requests in a timely and accurate
Proofreads transmittal letters and instructions to clients for accuracy and
Participates in quality check of peers' final work product
Performs related duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Associates or Bachelor's degree Business Administration, Accounting, etc
Previous office experience required
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word
Familiarity with editing PDF files a plus
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
Strong vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Must be a team player focused on internal and external client satisfaction
Ability to successfully function in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Preferred
Any experience in an Accounting firm is a plus!
