The role involves overseeing QA/QC processes for construction projects, ensuring compliance with standards, and conducting on-site inspections and audits.

Responsibilities

Oversee and implement QA/QC processes for construction and facility-related projects
Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, including updating the QA/QC binder as needed
Ensure compliance with Veterans Affairs and federal standards for quality management
Conduct on-site inspections and audits 2–3 days per week in Norfolk, VA
Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues and maintain project integrity

Qualification

CQM CertificationQA/QC experienceFederal quality standardsCommunication skillsDocumentation skills

Required

CQM Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors – USACE/NAVFAC or equivalent)
Proven experience in QA/QC roles within construction or government projects
Strong understanding of federal quality standards and compliance requirements
Ability to work on-site in Norfolk, VA (2–3 days per week)
Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred

Experience with Veterans Affairs projects or similar federal contracts
Familiarity with QA/QC binders and documentation processes
