Food Production
Responsibilities
Coordinate shift manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality meet specifications
Daily management of production employees, including hiring, scheduling, and coaching
Maintains safe working conditions and promotes a culture of safety
Ensures the flow of production, redirecting employees and resources as necessary
Acts a partner with food safety and is an engaged member of the food safety team
Able to identify and correct gaps in line rates
Drive efficiency improvements
Developing a Zero Loss Culture
Drive yield improvement initiatives
Daily WIP inventory tracking and management
Owner of safety and food safety culture
Other duties may be assigned based on company needs
Qualification
Required
3 years experience in a food manufacturing plant
2 years experience in any supervisory role
Excellent leadership skills
Demonstrated team building and problem-solving skills
Proficient with computer programs such as Office and Excel
Must be able to stand for 8 hours
Must lift 50+lbs repeatedly
Repetitive motion
Able to work in a cold environment
