The role involves preparing project models, ensuring drawing accuracy, and coordinating drafting work while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of project models and documentation (3D models and drawings), in the form of verbal and written instructions and sketches to 3D CAD Techs
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all drawings, files, engineering records, prints, and tasks of assigned projects
Prepare notes, preliminary and final plans (from field notes), implement design data, and create instructions
Learn and become proficient in engineering and drafting software programs such as, but not limited to, Mathcad, RISA-3D, Visual Foundation, Autodesk Revit, and AutoCAD
Coordinate drafting work while working with others on same or multiple projects
Perform quality assurance of projects
Maintain company drafting standards in accordance with industry drafting and engineering standards
Maintain the quality, accuracy, and security of the computer-based graphical data
Maintain high standard of professionalism in attitudes and communication with fellow employees and clients
Maintain a clean and professional office and work area environment
Perform other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or higher) majoring in Architectural (structural emphasis), Civil (structural emphasis), or Agricultural Engineering (structural emphasis)
Assist in the preparation of project models and documentation (3D models and drawings), in the form of verbal and written instructions and sketches to 3D CAD Techs

Preferred
Preferred experience in using Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office products, and taking field measurements
Background in construction, engineering, manufacturing, or similar field
Experience in 3D CAD modeling
Ability to read structural construction drawings
