Responsibilities
Consultative Sales Approach: Build trust and rapport with customers by understanding their unique needs and guiding them through the decision-making process. Help customers select the perfect luxury outdoor product, ensuring it meets their lifestyle and wellness goals. Follow up over time to ensure optimal conversion rates
Premium Product Expertise: Become an expert on Redwood Outdoors’ premium line of saunas, cold plunges, and other luxury outdoor products. Provide customers with detailed product knowledge and tailored recommendations
Sales Excellence: Handle a high volume of inbound sales calls, chats and emails, while maintaining a focus on customer experience and satisfaction. Consistently meet or exceed targets for revenue, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction
Customer-First Mindset: Always put the customer first, acting as a brand ambassador for Redwood Outdoors by providing top-tier service, responding to inquiries, and offering thoughtful product recommendations
Full-Cycle Sales Support: Own the customer relationship from initial contact through the completed sale, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable purchase experience. Work closely with warehouse and shipping partners to guarantee timely and efficient deliveries
Customer Engagement: Respond to walk-in inquiries and proactively engage with visitors to make them feel welcome and informed. Offer a seamless experience that builds trust and encourages purchase decisions
Showroom Sales: Act as the secondary in-person expert for customers visiting our showroom, offering personalized assistance in selecting the right sauna or cold plunge to meet their needs. You will create an engaging and informative experience that reflects our luxury brand while balancing priorities between in-person customers and primary role requirements
Retail Operations Support: Manage essential retail tasks, such as maintaining product displays, ensuring the showroom is organized, and assisting with inventory as necessary to support a smooth showroom operation
Qualification
Required
2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a consultative product sales environment and face-to-face retail sales, preferably in luxury, sporting or wellness products
1+ years of call center experience
GED or High School Diploma; bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build long-lasting relationships with customers
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Comfort with learning and using software applications required for the role
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
Strong understanding of retail business operations, including opening and closing
