Responsibilities

Apply appropriate risk-based thinking (PFMEA) to proactively identify opportunities to reduce our quality risk profile
Interface with customers to understand their unmet needs and translate those into improvement initiatives at our site
Lead continuous improvement programs/projects aimed at reducing quality risk and reducing variability in our manufacturing processes through use of process engineering and application of technology such as AI and vision systems
Provide leadership role in building a quality capability across our Site through application of quality tools such as PFMEA, Control Plans, Gauge R&R, advanced problem solving, and 6 Sigma
Develop and recommend economically feasible improvement proposals to senior leadership
Demonstrate your ability to understand opportunities for improvement and solve complex problems by implementing sustainable solutions, and application
Provide effective communication with cross-functional teams (operating teams, customers, global quality colleagues)
Lead team meetings, program management, and leadership engagement

Required

Three (3) or more years of manufacturing experience, or completion of three (3) or more co-op rotations in a related field
Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives/projects/programs within a cross functional team
Experience applying problem-solving methodologies (FMEA root cause, 5-why)
Willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field
Experience demonstrating an ability to analyze large data sets and apply statistics to generate knowledge systems that present actionable information
Experience demonstrating the application of additional Quality Capabilities (Auditing, Gage R&R, 3L5W, Poka Yoke, VOC, et)
Experience demonstrating an understanding and application of economics, value create and risk-based thinking for continuous improvement
Experience with technical solutions such as vision systems and AI
Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Applications like Excel and Power Bi, and data manipulation (SQL coding) to support data analysis
