Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of innovative engineers to create tools for generating 3D simulation scenarios, blending traditional and generative AI-based approaches
Contribute to architecture, design and feature development
Develop and execute on a roadmap which delivers key tools to our customers in a timely way
Work with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and deliver
Strengthen the team by hiring and developing top engineering talent
Qualification
Required
Strong software engineering background. 5+ years of experience developing software as an engineer and/or a manager
Software architecture and design skills. Ability to consider alternatives and manage risk in project planning. Ability to try new approaches to existing problems
User-focused: passion for customer experience, attention to details. Experience with live production software teams and/or very active customers
Strong communication and presentational skills
Experience leading the technical development of larger features and collaborating across organizational boundaries
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to build a culture of collaboration and productivity in the team along with supportive risk taking
Ability to grow engineers of varying levels toward their career goals
Preferred
Experience with 3D rendering, asset pipelines and production processes is a plus
Video games, film production tools, rendering and visualization, desktop or web-based tools are all great backgrounds
Experience with contemporary generative AI is a big plus
Experience with large-scale simulation systems is a big plus
