Field Engineer
F.E. Moran Group of Companies is a comprehensive contractor specializing in HVAC and mechanical services. They are seeking a Field Engineer to support Senior Project Managers in managing HVAC projects from inception to completion, enhancing project management skills through hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
Support Project Managers with equipment buyouts, estimations, submittals, RFIs, change orders, schedules, budgets, communication, close outs, and other aspects of project management
Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities, ensuring project deadlines are met
Point of communication for customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal coordination
Initiate and maintain trusting relationships with clients, promoting repeat business
Communicate aspects of project to clients including changes in costs for the benefit of project results
Acquire the appropriate permits and licenses to ensure compliance
Provide exceptional guidance and support to all stakeholders, partners, and team members
Lift/move inventory up to 50lbs.; kneel, squat, climb, bend, and stoop to reach materials
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or relevant field or equivalent experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with construction / project management software programs a plus
Effectively communicate both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences
Ability to negotiate changes and resolve conflicts successfully to protect the company's interest
Critical thinker with strong attention to detail
Ability to problem-solve
Quickly adjust to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities under time constraints
