Assistant Business Office Manager
Highland Healthcare Center is seeking an Assistant Business Office Manager to support daily business office operations in their long-term care facility. This role involves working closely with management to oversee various business office functions and ensure compliance with billing practices.

Monitor and process Medicaid pending applications
Prepare and submit write off requests per collection policy
Prepare daily deposits
Oversee accounts payable functions
Oversee payroll processes
Supervise business office staff
Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, and VA billing
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, insurance, and VA billing practices
Understanding of basic accounting and office systems
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
Preferred
Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
Microsoft Office experience preferred
