The role involves maintaining the Financial Aid Information System (FAIS), automating workflows, and integrating new technology solutions.

Responsibilities
Support FAIS and related financial aid systems; troubleshoot and resolve issues
Manage vendor relationships, software updates, and new module implementations
Automate workflows and develop custom tools, scripts, or AI-driven solutions
Maintain websites, portals, online applications, and web communications
Oversee secure, accurate financial aid data across multiple systems
Design reports and dashboards for operations, forecasting, and regulatory compliance
Ensure systems comply with federal and state regulations (FERPA, Title IV)
Plan and manage system upgrades, portal launches, and automation initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes and translate business requirements
Qualification
Required
SQL programming
SQL Server knowledge
Experience supporting financial aid systems (FAIS or similar)
Strong knowledge of data management, integration, and reporting tools
Familiarity with federal and state financial aid regulations
Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
ERP experience (Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, Jenzabar)
Reporting/analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Programming, scripting, or automation experience
Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations
