Responsibilities
Planning, organizing, directing, and administering the work of professional staff within the Quality Support Program
Reviewing and evaluating workflow and quality of work
Ensuring processing timelines are met by all units
Establishing and maintaining project priorities
Monitoring and exercising control over assigned resources/projects in accordance with DLE/Bureau policies and procedures
Implementing new units/procedures, managing projects, allocating resources, and monitoring and evaluating program efficiencies
Qualification
Required
Experience in planning, organizing, directing, and administering the work of professional staff
Ability to perform quality assurance reviews of firearms eligibility checks
Experience in developing and delivering training programs
Knowledge of laws specific to firearms purchase and possession
Experience in contacting law enforcement agencies for obtaining missing disposition information
Ability to review and evaluate workflow and quality of work
Experience in ensuring processing timelines are met
Ability to establish and maintain project priorities
Experience in monitoring and exercising control over assigned resources/projects
Ability to manage and make decisions and/or recommendations to bureau-level management
Experience in implementing new units/procedures
Ability to manage projects and allocate resources
Experience in monitoring and evaluating program efficiencies
