Responsibilities

Develop and implement multi-year category strategies that align with enterprise objectives, operational needs, and financial targets
Lead all aspects of strategic sourcing, supplier selection, contract structuring, commercial negotiation, and lifecycle supplier management across all indirect categories
Drive the annual procurement planning cycle, integrating demand forecasting, TCO analysis, market benchmarking, and scenario planning
Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, influencing spend behaviors, supplier strategies, and enterprise decision-making
Build strong category pipelines and proactively find opportunities for innovation, consolidation, and value creation
Partner with IT, Finance, FP&A, HR, GTM, Operations, Legal, and Security to align procurement strategy with functional priorities and business objectives
Lead business collaborator engagement to ensure sourcing strategies meet service, quality, risk, and budget expectations
Guide leaders through sourcing decisions, vendor rationalization, and large-scale negotiations
Serve as a visible and trusted partner to executive leadership on procurement, risk, and supplier strategy topics
Deliver annual savings targets through cost reduction, cost avoidance, demand management, and improved buying behaviors
Implement supplier segmentation and governance frameworks that improve accountability, performance, resilience, and innovation
Assess and mitigate supplier, operational, financial, geopolitical, ESG, and compliance risks for all indirect spending categories
Enable supplier continuity strategies, including dependency reviews, redundancy planning, and contract-level risk controls
Lead all aspects of quarterly business reviews and supplier scorecards
Lead continuous improvement of procurement processes, policies, controls, and critical metrics across the global organization
Advance procurement digital transformation by driving adoption of automation, analytics, AI-enabled sourcing tools, workflow software, and dashboards
Partner with Finance and internal systems teams to improve processes related to spend visibility, contract lifecycle management, supplier onboarding, and compliance
Ensure consistent global implementation of procurement standards, templates, and governance
Lead, motivate, and develop a distributed team of category managers, sourcing specialists, and procurement professionals
Creating a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Build organizational capability through training, coaching, talent development, and strategic hiring
Champion procurement’s role in the company’s broader transformation, promoting agreement and adoption across global teams

Required

10–15+ years of progressive procurement leadership, with deep expertise in global indirect procurement across multiple categories
Proven success managing large, complex spend portfolios in a technology, SaaS, or global matrixed organization
Expertise in sourcing strategy, contracting, supplier management, negotiation, and cost-optimization frameworks
Experience driving procurement transformation, digital initiatives, and process modernization
Strong financial competence and ability to produce decision-ready insights for executive audiences and proficiency with modern procurement systems and workflows (Workday preferred; Coupa, Ariba, Icertis, etc. a plus)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master's degree preferred
