Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is a leading provider of fresh refrigerated deli salads and prepared foods. They are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to perform various specialized HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations support.

Responsibilities

Assists with recruiting and hiring to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants

Conducts new hire orientation and oversight of onboarding process including the communication of employee benefits

Provides employees and managers with information on company policies, practices, and programs

Supports a culture of safety through a partnership with the Risk Management team

Assists with recordkeeping and compliance activities including but not limited to data entry of employee changes and payroll activities and audits, completion of unemployment claims, workers compensation claims, and leave of absence administration

Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention

Works in conjunction with the HR team and provides recommendations to the HR Manager

Regular attendance and punctuality are an essential job function due to dealing with people, time sensitive processes, and programs

Creates and maintains employee files
