Administration and Operations Section Chief
The California Department of Housing & Community Development is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment. The Administration and Operations Section Chief will oversee budget, personnel management, contract management, and various operational services, acting as a liaison between sections within the department.
Responsibilities
Oversees and directs first level the Administration and Operation section which oversees C&S’s budget, personnel management, contract management, and accounting and cashiering procedures, information technology, facility, and contact center services
Serves as liaison between C&S and the Administration and Management Division
Qualification
Required
Must submit a completed Employment Application (STD.678)
Must submit a Statement of Qualifications
Must reside in California for telework eligibility
Must pass a pre-employment background check
Must be eligible for hybrid telework
Must have experience in budget, personnel management, contract management, and accounting procedures
