Prepare state income and franchise tax returns and estimates
Assist with preparation of federal tax returns and provisions
Prepare premium tax returns and provisions
Prepare analytical schedules as needed in support of all tax functions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
0 - 2 years of experience
Limited to moderate knowledge of industry practices, standards, and concepts within field of work
Learns to make decisions and recommendations for varied situations, applying judgment to interpret related information, policies, and procedures
Works independently under moderate to general supervision, receiving specific and detailed instructions on new types of work
Works as an individual contributor
Applies knowledge to help solve problems of relatively limited scope and complexity which require independent thinking
Contacts other departments and or external organizations or parties frequently, primarily at or below middle management levels
Preferred
Experience with tax software programs helpful
Must understand general accounting concepts
