Responsibilities
Own the full finance function end-to-end: FP&A, accounting, cash, reporting, controls
Build and professionalize SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, LTV/CAC, payback, retention)
Partner closely with the CEO on operating cadence, decision-making, and execution
Lead board and investor reporting with PE-level rigor
Be hands-on early: systems, close, forecasting, models — no layers
Support strategic initiatives including pricing, GTM analytics, and M&A readiness
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a CFO in a modern SaaS business
Deep understanding of SaaS economics and KPIs (not learning on the job)
Operational mindset — comfortable building in small teams and owning detail
Prior exposure to private equity boards and reporting cadence
Clear availability and commitment (not mid-transaction)
Preferred
Background in investment banking
Experience scaling SaaS businesses from sub-$20m to meaningful scale
Prior involvement in M&A or integrations
