Responsibilities

Acts as the primary point of contact for Financial Planners, Private Bankers, Regional Sales Managers, and Branch Partners, providing timely and accurate support across a range of investment-related services
Owns and follows up on complex files, making it easy for Partners to do business and inspiring confidence in our processes, service standards, and overall brand
Understands customer needs and delivers tailored wealth and investment-related solutions. Probes effectively to uncover unique requirements and ensures a seamless experience
Manages transactional outcomes and escalates unresolved or complex situations to senior team members or managers as needed
Reviews and processes documentation during Partner and customer interactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintains current knowledge of investment markets, trends, and practices, integrating insights into customer conversations professionally
Incorporates relevant marketing programs and promotions into customer interactions where appropriate
Adheres to all regulatory and compliance requirements, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Terrorist Financing, FCAC consumer provisions, and the Privacy Act
Identifies and reports suspicious patterns of activity that may be related to money laundering or other financial crimes
May initiate outbound calls to resolve complex situations and ensure customer satisfaction
Completes diverse tasks within established guidelines and may handle escalations from other employees. Broader accountabilities may be assigned as needed

Required

2–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in financial services or investment operations
Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience
Strong knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services
Understanding of competitive market trends and product offerings
Familiarity with risk management and compliance practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong collaboration and team skills
Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred

Bilingualism (French and English) preferred
