Conflicts Attorney

LHH is a leading Am Law firm seeking an experienced Conflicts Attorney to join its Risk Management & Compliance team. The role involves reviewing and analyzing conflicts of interest reports, drafting waivers, and training conflicts analysts while maintaining knowledge of ethical guidelines.

Responsibilities

Review, interpret, and analyze conflicts of interest reports for new clients, matters, and lateral hires
Summarize potential conflict issues and recommend conflict resolution steps
Draft and review waivers, engagement letters, and non‑standard provisions
Evaluate outside counsel guidelines and advise on deviations
Conduct corporate affiliate research (Hoover’s, D&B, Lexis/Westlaw)
Implement and maintain ethical walls
Train conflicts analysts and support risk management initiatives
Maintain knowledge of ABA Model Rules and jurisdiction‑specific variations

Qualification

Required

JD required; active bar member in good standing
3+ years conflict clearance experience in a large law firm
Strong foundation in the Rules of Professional Conduct
Experience with Intapp Open, Walls, Terms, iManage, and conflicts databases
Excellent writing skills, judgement, and attention to detail
