Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using modern best practices
Contribute to and help guide technical design, architecture, and code quality standards
Work across the full development lifecycle, including analysis, implementation, and documentation
Collaborate with team members in a hybrid, team-based development environment
Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Lead by example—mentoring teammates while remaining hands-on with development
Navigate and improve complex or ambiguous legacy codebases
Qualification
Required
5–7+ years of Android development experience (7–10+ years welcome)
Strong proficiency with Kotlin, including: Coroutines, Flow, Kotlin Multiplatform
Deep experience with Jetpack Compose (must-have)
Experience with Android Jetpack components, including: ViewModel, WorkManager, LiveData, DataBinding, Lifecycle, Room (SQLite), Material Design
Proven ability to perform well in coding assessments
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience leading or mentoring other developers
Comfort working in large, complex, or loosely documented codebases
Strong collaboration and communication skills in hybrid environments
