StretchLab Spartanburg is seeking experienced health or fitness professionals who are passionate about helping others feel better and live life more fully. The role involves delivering one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and helping to build StretchLab membership through expert recommendations.

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions

Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions

Help build StretchLab membership through expert recommendations and retain current clientele with program planning (no cold calling, no calling at all, no finding your own clients)

Ensure safety of clients in regard to proper stretch techniques

Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations

Qualification

Accredited fitness certificationLicensed Physical TherapistLicensed Massage TherapistCertified Personal TrainerExperience in fitness environmentPassion for fitnessAnatomyPhysiologyKinesiology

Required

An accredited fitness or health related certification, license, or degree is required, and it must be current

Certification/license/degree can be any of the following: Licensed Physical Therapist, Licensed Massage Therapist, Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Licensed Occupational Therapist, LPN / RN (sorry, but not CNA), Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Pilates, Yoga, or Dance Instructor, Degreed in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Human Biomechanics, Other wellness/fitness certifications or degrees considered individually (must include an understanding of concepts such as anatomy, physiology, kinesiology)

Love of fitness/health is a must – passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility

Preferred

Experience working in a fitness/health environment providing hands-on training with clients is a plus
