Responsibilities

Detail design work of assemblies and subsystems

Design, test, and prototype mechanical systems on Asylon’s hardware products

Improve upon existing systems to ensure they meet customer requirements. Examples include actuated systems, environmental ruggedization for austere environments, and structural optimization of Asylon’s hardware products for manufacturing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, electrical, and systems engineers, to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software

Prototype, test, and iterate on mechanical designs to meet performance, safety, and cost requirements

Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including CAD models, drawings, and specifications

Work with manufacturing and operations to provide drawings, instruction manuals, and maintenance guides

Work with manufacturing teams to transition designs from prototype to production, ensuring scalability and quality

Work with our supply chain to maintain quality assurance
