Responsibilities
Responsible for project management; preparation of proposals, complex technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings
Managing and reviewing work of junior staff and mentoring
Some travel will be required to client meetings and project sites
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in geotechnical analyses including slope stability, settlement, and soil/structure interaction
Development of appropriate foundation and site-related geotechnical recommendations
Report preparation
Field experience associated with subsurface investigations and earthwork construction
MS with concentration in Geotechnical Engineering
Minimum 10 years of diverse and proven geotechnical experience
Strong construction experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Must be motivated, responsible, and able to work independently
PE certification is required
Preferred
Experience with CAD, dam safety engineering, seepage analyses, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling related to dams
Familiar with geotechnical aspects of Building Codes and Design Manuals
