Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including panels, conduit, lighting, motors, and control circuits
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving breakers, generators, UPS systems, and other high-demand equipment
Read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Adhere to all electrical and safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE usage
Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), state, and local regulations
Accurately document maintenance activities, service findings, and material usage within work order systems
Support electrical components of facility expansion, retrofit, and upgrade projects
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency electrical issues as required

Required

Valid Journeyman Electrician License (State of [Insert State] or reciprocal)
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with commercial or industrial electrical systems
Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and electrical safety best practices
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, hot/cold, and confined spaces)

Preferred

Experience working in Data Centers, hospitals, or other mission-critical facilities
Familiarity with medium- and low-voltage systems and associated safety protocols
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
Basic computer literacy, including experience with email, digital documentation, and work order systems
