Responsibilities
Design and execute the implementation of this organization's 1st formal CI Program (role serves as the start of the kaizen promotion office)
Challenge conventional thinking by evaluating and setting stretch targets to drive the organization to growth opportunities
Develop and lead direct reports to support the segment's strategic direction. Mentor a select group of CI/Lean leaders at various levels to achieve more robust results
Influence and support diverse teams to identify process improvement opportunities. Gain trust with various partners and leaders to get the support needed for project success
Develop transformative "best practices" to drive improved productivity and scalability
Collaborate with leaders across operations, engineering, project management and manufacturing to identify and deploy meaningful KPI's
Reward contributions while driving a culture of ownership and accountability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree (Engineering Preferred)
LSSMBB highly preferred, as this will allow for the certification for additional black belts across the organization
8+ years of progressive lean & direct operations experience, primarily in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing
