The role involves hands-on product development, rapid prototyping, and owning the mechanical architecture from concept through early iterations.

Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical design of a new air-driven paintball marker (pneumatic system design is essential)

Develop concepts, CAD models, and early prototypes using SolidWorks or Fusion 360

Iterate on designs based on testing, performance, and functional requirements

Collaborate directly with the founder to define requirements, timelines, and design milestones

Provide engineering guidance on manufacturability, materials, tolerances, and long-term product roadmap considerations

Potential to support additional product designs as the company grows

Required

Senior-level Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience (not seeking junior or early-career candidates)
