This internship offers hands-on experience in commercial insurance operations, focusing on risk assessment practices and supporting day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
Assist Risk Control Consultants with data analysis, research, and reporting related to commercial risk exposures
Participate in client site visits to observe risk assessments and learn best practices for loss prevention
Support administrative tasks and maintain accurate records for projects and departmental initiatives
Collaborate with team members and other interns on cross-functional projects
Attend training sessions, workshops, and networking events as part of the internship program
Prepare presentations and reports summarizing findings and recommendations
For field roles: Travel up to 25% to client locations for risk control activities
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience
Either actively enrolled in an academic institution in pursuit of a degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Safety Science, Engineering, Business, or related field or is a recent college graduate, typically having attained a degree within the past 12 months
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) preferred
For field roles, only: Valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards
