New Grad, Entry LevelPhaxis is a company seeking an Operations Specialist to support a financial services client in Boston. The Operations Specialist will ensure accurate and timely trade entries while assisting with various operational functions within the firm.

Responsibilities
Ensure accurate and timely trade entry into the accounting system
Perform routine and specialized securities processing activities
Execute operational controls to support accuracy, risk mitigation, and compliance
Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade breaks / trade-related issues
Support cash management processes with a strong focus on timeliness and accuracy
Communicate with internal partners and external contacts as needed
Provide support related to 529 administration
Assist with ongoing operational tasks and support other team members as needed
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Strong PC/technical skills
Ability to identify issues, problem-solve, and escalate appropriately
Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong time management and ability to prioritize effectively
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team environment
Preferred
Candidates with internship experience (finance, operations, banking, accounting, or related) are strongly welcomed
