Bluefish is looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead and own the full accounting lifecycle for their growing organization. This role involves overseeing client billing, revenue recognition, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance across all accounting functions.

Responsibilities

Own and manage the end-to-end accounting function—from client billing setup and invoicing to revenue recognition and monthly close

Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure accurate contract set-up and billing

Establish and improve processes for invoicing, collections, revenue tracking, and cost allocations

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, revenue, AR, and deferred revenue

Manage bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close procedures

Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and internal controls

Support internal and external audits, compliance reporting, and tax filings

Evaluate, implement, and optimize accounting systems and tools

Serve as a strategic advisor on financial operations, reporting, and planning initiatives
