Responsibilities
Collaborate with product stakeholders to define and maintain user-level requirements
Transform user-level requirements and other stakeholders’ needs into engineering requirements via systems analysis and functional decomposition
Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, specification trees, and behavioral models to establish traceability across engineering domains and cross-functional teams
Identify critical design risks and collaborate with domain experts to develop mitigation strategies via the use of fault trees, FMEAs, etc
Conduct impact analysis across design changes and requirements changes, and facilitate trade-off analysis across cross-functional stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong background in one or more of the following fields: Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Machine Learning & Statistics
Systems Architect, Systems Engineer, or Hardware Architect experience
Technical leader able to bridge and coordinate broad multi-disciplinary teams
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Preferred
Masters/PhD in a relevant field
Experience with biosignal acquisition and signal processing
Experience with medical device development with exposure to regulatory and quality systems
Experience in developing systems engineering processes and best practices for a business unit or organization, or introducing existing processes to new teams
