Responsibilities

Developing and implementing sophisticated detection, classification, localization, and tracking (DCLT) algorithms against state-of-the-art threats in high-noise environments

Designing and implementing complex software to optimize sensor system performance

Designing and implementing software for the guidance and control of autonomous vehicles

Supporting real time evaluation of designs in realistic mission scenarios and operational analysis

Optimizing algorithm designs for highest performance

Required

A Bachelor's degree in an applicable discipline (i.e. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field) and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Classroom, project, or prior internship experience in software design, simulation, analysis, and/or implementation

Classroom, project, or prior internship experience programming in one or more modern languages and environments (i.e. C, C++, Linux, etc.)

Deep and driving curiosity

Experience with Python, Bash, Google FlatBuffers, git, Valgrind, and Linux debugging tools, such as gdb

Experience with multithreaded applications, inter-process communication, and resource sharing
