United IT is seeking a hands-on Senior Systems & Application Engineer who can also act as a strong coordination lead. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure end-to-end integration, environment setup, issue resolution, and smooth delivery.

Responsibilities

Work with vendors to stand up new hosted environments
Ensure API connectivity, API Gateway routing, and end-to-end authentication flows
Set up and validate bulk file transfers (SFTP/SFT) and coordinate mailbox creation
Replicate production ETL/batch jobs in lower environments
Troubleshoot issues across APIs, microservices, pipelines, certificates, networking, and data flows
Work with Azure components: APIM, AKS, App Services, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Storage
Build/modify CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions (YAML)
Drive delivery across multiple stakeholder teams and remove blockers
Document environment setup steps, integration flows, and technical configs

Required

Application architecture, microservices, REST APIs
API Gateway experience (Azure APIM preferred)
SSL/TLS certificates, trust chains, Key Vault
Azure cloud (AKS, App Services, APIM, Logic Apps, Storage, Networking)
CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
Docker basics and AKS deployment knowledge
ETL and SFTP/SFT integration familiarity
Strong coordination and communication
Ability to drive tasks independently
Structured problem solver with ownership mindset
Comfortable working across multiple teams

Preferred

Terraform / ARM templates
Helm basics
PowerShell scripting
Prior migration experience
