Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise-level web applications and distributed systems
Support framework functionality for EDI Services and the Medicaid Web Portal
Perform frontend and backend web development, including responsive and mobile-ready user interfaces
Develop and support Java-based web applications and services using modern frameworks
Work within a production support environment to maintain and enhance existing systems
Participate in full software development lifecycle activities, including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, DBAs, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders
Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of web applications
Assist in translating business requirements into technical solutions
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex web and EDI-related issues
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience with Apache Tapestry
7+ years of experience with JavaScript
7+ years of experience with jQuery
7+ years of experience with EDI Transactions
7+ years of experience with JDBC
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
Preferred
Experience with Java
Experience with UC4
Experience with ActiveMQ
Experience with Unix/Linux variants and Unix scripting
Experience with SQL
Experience with MongoDB
Prior experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS)
