Responsibilities
Reconciling and posting daily Sales Batches from the POS System into the General Ledger accounting software
Posting of AR payments/receipts into the accounting module
Reconciling customer payments
Billing Fleet accounts
Generating monthly statements for Fleet Customers
Monitoring and collecting delinquent accounts
Assisting with reconciling bank transactions to posted receipts in preparation for bank reconciliations
Other duties related to the AR accounting process with a focus on receivables as assigned by AR Manager
Qualification
Required
Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited institution preferred
A minimum of four years of progressively responsible accounting experience, may substitute for education requirement
Strong accounting, analytical and investigative skills, and attention to detail
Intermediate capabilities with MS Excel
Understanding of, and ability to follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
