The Operations Intern will gain practical experience in landfill operations, environmental compliance, and site management while working alongside experienced professionals.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily landfill operations including waste placement and compaction
Support environmental monitoring and reporting activities
Observe and help manage heavy equipment usage and maintenance
Participate in safety meetings and compliance inspections
Contribute to site improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects
Help track and document operational data and performance metrics
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong interest in operations, sustainability, and field-based work
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; GIS or environmental software experience is a plus
Valid driver's license required
