M Resort Spa Casino is part of PENN Entertainment, dedicated to changing the entertainment industry. They are seeking a Host Person to provide exceptional service to guests, manage the hostess stand, and assist with various duties to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities

Properly present clean menus to our guests

Collect and inspect all menus, discarding the worn ones

Maintain the professional appearance of the hostess stand

Supply guests with information on services available at the Hotel/Casino, including all of our restaurants

Monitor the waiting line to determine if there are large parties waiting

Answer telephone at the hostess stand

Monitor the performance and completion of sidework

Handle initial guest complaints. Inform manager on duty immediately of any problems or concerns

Assure smooth transition during shift changes. Remain on duty until relief is present and acknowledges that they are ready to take over

Ensure that tables are properly set to start each shift

Assist the manager with breaks

Must provide courteous and friendly service to all guests and team members

Performs related work as requested
