The YMCA of Greater Kansas City is seeking a mission-driven, relationship-centered Executive Director to lead their Platte County Community Center North - YMCA. This role involves overseeing daily operations, driving strategic growth, and building community partnerships to enhance the YMCA's impact across Platte County.

Responsibilities

Lead all center operations, including membership, programs, fiscal management, facilities, philanthropy, and associate development

Recruit, develop, and support a diverse volunteer advisory board that advances community engagement and philanthropic goals

Build strategic partnerships with civic organizations, local businesses, neighborhood leaders, and elected officials

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, member-focused programs that drive engagement, retention, and community impact

Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure resources support strategic priorities

Foster a culture of excellence and innovation that strengthens member experience and supports association goals

Ensure safety, facility quality, compliance, and adherence to all YMCA policies and procedures

Represent the YMCA at community events, meetings, and activities to elevate visibility and strengthen partnerships

Travel across the region and participate in evening, weekend, and occasional after-hours activities to support operational needs
