Senior Accountant

Lendr is seeking a Senior Accountant to report to the Vice President of Accounting and Finance. This role involves maintaining the General Ledger, performing financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

Reconcile daily all cash accounts and company credit cards
Uploading and coding all the bank transactions into QuickBooks for all companies
Prepare General Ledger entries daily
Assist in managing the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling
Perform the Processing and recording accounts payable transactions
Contacting Vendors regarding invoice inquires
Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenues and receivables
Reconciling Account Receivable Data to the ERP system
Preparing expense analysis and reports for various projects within the financial department
Prepare weekly reporting packages to our senior lenders such as borrowing base reports
Review and fund approved clients
Identify and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting
Streamline and automate reporting processes by leading meetings with the tech team
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance, KPIs, and operational metrics
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth
Partner with business leaders to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
Prepare documentations for the auditors, as needed
Assist in preparation of financial reports for all entities
Prepare 1099’s for outside contractors
Train and manage staff accountant

Required

Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Reconcile daily all cash accounts and company credit cards

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–6 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, or similar roles
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g. QuickBooks Online)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Accuracy is a must
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
