Responsibilities

Assist with detailed estimates for new commercial roofing projects
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings
Review specifications and scopes for bid alignment
Solicit, level, and analyze supplier and subcontractor pricing
Support preparation of bid proposals, scopes of work, and value-engineering options
Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates reflect real job conditions
Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client walkthroughs as needed
Maintain organized estimate files, pricing logs, and bid tracking documentation

Required

1-3 years of construction estimating experience
Exposure to commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, BUR, Modified Bitumen, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel
Strong work ethic and interest in long-term growth within construction

Preferred

(roofing, exterior restoration, or building envelope experience strongly preferred)
Experience with Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar estimating software preferred
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required
