Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day chemical lab operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
Follow strict safety protocols in the handling, storage, and disposal of chemical compounds to ensure a safe working environment
Prepare and organize fragrance samples for application testing and other sensory evaluations (e.g., performance and stability in personal care and home care products)
Prepare and organize fragrance samples for analytical evaluation. Operate analytical chemistry instruments to conduct tests, gather data, and support research efforts
Operate liquid handling instruments to prepare samples and create mixtures and formulas
Assist in packing and shipping tasks, ensuring that lab products are safely and correctly prepared for transportation

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus or 2-5 years of high-throughput lab experience
Strong understanding of chemical safety protocols
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Preferred

Familiarity with operating analytical chemistry instruments and/or Tecan, Opentrons, Agilent, and Gerstel equipment
Knowledge of perfumery and fragrance ingredients. Experience working with fragrance applications
Hands-on experience with SQL/Python
