Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive Progressive Care/Step-Down nursing care to a diverse patient population
Manage cardiac drips, telemetry monitoring, post-procedural cardiac care, and complex assessments
Respond to patient condition changes and escalate appropriately
Perform wound care, dressing changes, medication administration, and documentation
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding care plans and expectations
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Uphold all facility policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
Work efficiently during night shifts, weekend rotations, and holiday schedules

Qualification

Active RN licenseProgressive Care experienceBLS certificationACLS certificationTelemetry monitoringCardiac drips experiencePost-procedural careBSN preferredClinical judgmentCommunication skillsAdaptability

Required

Active RN license (Michigan)
Minimum 3 years of recent Progressive Care/PCU experience
BLS & ACLS required
Experience with cardiac drips, cardiac post-procedural care, and telemetry required
Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and holiday rotations
Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Preferred

BSN preferred
