Akkodis is seeking an Azure Terraform Engineer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC principles, along with developing CI/CD automation pipelines and administering core Azure services.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain reusable Terraform modules to provision Azure resources such as VMs, VNets, AKS, databases, and storage

Develop and manage CI/CD automation pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions for seamless infrastructure deployment

Administer core Azure services, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability across cloud environments

Implement governance controls including Azure Policy, RBAC, NSGs, and firewall configurations to maintain security compliance

Monitor performance, costs, and reliability of Azure workloads and troubleshoot issues proactively

Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field

6–8 years of hands‑on experience in Azure cloud engineering and terraform‑based Infrastructure as Code

Proven expertise in designing and deploying Azure infrastructure using Terraform modules, along with strong skills in scripting (PowerShell/Python) and Git-based workflows

Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) and the ability to implement security governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, and network security controls
