Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble large pumps and rotating equipment
Use blueprints and schematics to plan procedures and set up assembly/disassembly foundations
Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools to exacting standards
Measure components with micrometers, calipers, and gauges (M&TE)
Apply mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose faults and recommend fixes
Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts
Work to precise tolerances and standards of accuracy
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
7+ years' experience as a pump mechanic or equivalent in rotating equipment
Competency with hand/power tools; crane and forklift experience
Ability to read and interpret inspection measurements
Clear written and oral communication
Manual dexterity, control precision, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
