Responsibilities
Collaborate with business partners to understand business requirements and translate them into system requirements
Work closely with development teams, stakeholders, technology leads, and agile teams to ensure successful delivery of program milestones
Develop practical and realistic recommendations and communicate results
Lead analysis of business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs and document requirements
Train key partners and other constituencies in new solutions - architecture and implementation
Capture information related to customer experiences, products, and/or services and perform analysis and reporting to detect patterns
Identify root causes and validate business problems in terms of business and systems requirements
Quantify the scope and impact of opportunities that will add new value for the organization and help lead prioritization according to business value or critical metrics
Build and implement test scenarios and settings to evaluate solution efficiency and identify the right metrics and approach to measure business value
Qualification
Required
6+ years relevant experience in various systems analysis methodologies, including data analysis, data mapping, flowcharts, uses case development, story writing, set-up / configuration of systems, user acceptance testing and product documentation
Outstanding conceptual thinking, and problem-solving capabilities including synthesizing findings and developing practical and realistic recommendations
Strong project management skills with ability to take ownership of a business issue, lead triage and resolution discussions with a sense of urgency, communicate client and participant impact to Legal, Risk, Compliance and appropriate business partners, and see resolution of issue through to completion
Proven capacity to lead analysis of business systems and/or business process to identify user needs, document requirements, and address operation/ process issues/ improvements to accomplish business objectives
Proven capacity to lead clarification and ‘translation' of less-technical documentation and/or requirements into highly technical subject-matter
Leadership ability to train key partners and other constituencies in new solutions - architecture and implementation
Superb communication skills – written, verbal and presentation artifacts
Outstanding analytical skills and ability to lead distillation and translation of sophisticated customer needs into Agile stories with clear, substantial acceptance criteria
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills; highly compassionate emotional intelligence blended with analytical rigor and passion for technology
Ability to build reputation and influence across the firm and at all levels of management
Customer-obsessed with validated dedication to and success with delivering measurable business value
Innovative yet pragmatic – able to lead teams toward risk-taking with the highest likely marginal return
Preferred
Solid grasp of Fidelity's unique landscape with experience in multiple product offerings
Bachelor's degree encouraged, MBA or MS preferred
