Responsibilities
Lead the development and maintenance of robust Python-based applications and APIs, ensuring high performance and scalability
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services using REST, GraphQL, and other protocols
Collaborate with front-end developers to create seamless user experiences utilizing React, JavaScript, and Front-end development best practices
Manage version control systems such as GitHub, SVN, and Git to ensure code integrity and facilitate team collaboration
Work within an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Optimize software solutions for deployment on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, leveraging services such as virtual machines, storage, and networking
Maintain and improve existing systems built with technologies including C#, .NET, Java, C++, and VBA as needed for application development projects
Ensure security best practices are followed, including implementing role-based access control (RBAC) and other security protocols
Contribute to the design of scalable infrastructure supporting both web applications and backend services, integrating knowledge of IT infrastructure concepts
Stay current with emerging technologies such as Quantum engineering to identify innovative solutions for complex problems
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience with Python programming for application development, automation, and data processing
Strong knowledge of web development frameworks including React Express and front-end technologies like JavaScript
Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs, working with JSON/XML data formats, and integrating third-party APIs
Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Azure, including deployment, scaling, and security configurations
Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub, SVN, or similar tools for collaborative development workflows
Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, SQL Server (SQL), along with experience in database design, querying, and optimization
Understanding of software development methodologies including Agile, with experience in continuous integration tools
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Preferred
Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects involving cloud services, virtualization, or containerization
Working knowledge of other programming languages such as Java, C#, C++, or scripting languages like VBA is a plus
